Is it harder for an out-of-state student to gain admission when being compared to an in-state applicant with equal stats? Does the out-of-state student need to present higher stats than what is shown as "middle 50%" info to realistically expect to be admitted? If any out-of-state applicants would be willing to share their stats (GPA, SAT/ACT scores) and whether they got in or not, that would be great. I would also be curious to know if you applied Early Action or not. Thanks!

Out of state applied regular decision, accepted with 2040 SAT, 90 uw/113w gpa. Good luck!

My daughter applied early action and she was deferred. She had a 3.6 gpa and a 1200/1840 SAT score. One more month wait to see if she gets in RD. Good luck! She is OOS also

D is OOS and applied early action. Was accepted with SAT of 2210, GPA of 3.9.

My daughter was accepted early action out of state with a 85.39 GPA and a 1120/1670 SAT…good luck!

My apologies I just realized that my last post somehow is “haha” in the subject which I didn’t write. I would delete the post but I don’t know how.

D is OOS and applied EA. Accepted with 3.76 GPA, 1900 SAT, and 28 ACT. Good Luck!

Thanks so much for the responses! By any chance did anyone receive a merit scholarship? This would be another helpful bit of information. Thanks in advance!
