out of state students going to UNC

<p>Hey yeah I don't know anyone whose been admitted to UNC from out of state and who is definately going - so I figured I'd post a thread to find out. </p>

<p>Where do you live/go to highschool?
what clubs/sports are you interested in at UNC?</p>

<p>and also if anyone knows any interesting freshman whatever about the school - i.e. Which are the best dorms, classes/teachers, hang outs in NC, etc. feel free to share the wealth, haha</p>

<p>I'm definately going - I live in NYC
I go to Horace Mann School
I plan on fencing for the UNC team</p>

<p>hi ... i am an out-of-state student accepted at UNC and yes I fully plan on going.
I'm currently in CA but I travelled a lot growing up around the world from Europe to Asia(where I spent most of my high school years). So I chose a diverse university which kinda reflects the diversity of my back ground.
I'd like some information about the best dorms and hang-out places too.</p>
