Hello, everyone. I'm an out-of-state transfer student currently attending a Mississippi community college. Even though I am a music major, I know audition is everything and I won't ask about odds of getting into that. But academically, I would appreciate it if you might take the time to "chance" me.

Being a non-Texas resident, I know that I don't qualify for the Automatic Admissions thing with the top 10%, so I'm significantly disadvantaged from getting in. But here are my stats anyway just in case I might get in.

As a college transfer student, would you recommend me sending my high school credentials? If so:

High School GPA (unweighted/weighted): 4.0/4.2 (Salutatorian of my graduating class)
ACT score: 28
Active in a few extracurriculars. Captain of the Academic Team/Quiz Bowl Team. Member of the Mississippi Lions All-State Band for two years (frequent winners of world championship titles; we won a world championship in Hamburg, Germany, during my senior year of high school). Also, I was in the Macy's Great American Marching Band (2012) that performs in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade each year.

And my college stats:

College GPA: 4.0
Member of the Honors Institute at my community college
I tend to take an average of 25-30 credits each semester; I will graduate with over 100 credits in two years.
1st chair sax player in my marching band, jazz band and Wind Ensemble.
Went to France with my wind ensemble and jazz band. Played a concert at the American Cemetery for the 70th anniversary of D-Day. Played some jazz in a park in Paris.
Also, I will soon become a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

I hope I didn't forget anything. Thanks so much for your time and assistance.
