Hi. I am currently a Florida high school student and am looking into Rutgers because it is my dream school. However, I'm a bit afraid I might not be able to cut it because of my 2.7 GPA, the fact that I am an out-of-state student, and that as a freshman and sophomore I had mediocre grades, but as of my junior year my grades have gone up. My PSAT score for Reading is a 52, my score for math is a 56, and my score for writing is a 62. What are my chances of being accepted?

Work hard in your junior year because Rutgers doesn't consider senior grades. Apply early (like in October). Take your SAT's this spring so you can retake in June if you need to, and definitely prep for them.
