<p>generally, your stats such as GPA and SAT must be much higher than the instate applicant. i think it is something like >3.8 UW gpa and 2150+ SAT but i would double check on that</p>
<p>in my case though, 90% of the people i know who got into stanford also got into berkeley…i dont know if my schools demography had something to do with it tho…</p>
