I'm out of state, my test scores are pretty good, 31 ACT and 2040 SAT, could probably raise that to a 2100.
The real problem is that my school is really competitive, so my class rank only puts me in the top 18%. Only was able to do one AP class junior year, (US History) though I did get an A and a 5 on it. Will do 3 more next year.
GPA is a lousy 3.9 weighted, so about a 3.5 unweighted. Cross-country and track have eaten up all my free time, so I haven't been able to do any ECs besides those two sports.
Is there even a remote chance for me?

You might ask your counselor how other students from your school have done applying to this school with similar stats--they generally have some idea. Sorry, don't know enough otherwise.

If I were you I would try to raise my Act instead of my sat...on you application you have the opportunity to tell the admissions people anything you want them to know ...so tell them about your competitive school...even though cross country and track have eaten up all of your free time it is real important for an applicant not only to do extra curriculars during school months but also in the summer also...I think that if those ap classes bring up your GPA them you have a pretty good chance....you just have to remember to broaden your extra curriculars....also...i would not apply early action!

btw the essays will probably make or break you.....
