<p>I Know this has been brought up in other threads but I have two specific questions:</p>
<li><p>Do many Maryland students already know each other when they first show up on campus?</p></li>
<li><p>Do a lot of people go home on weekends?</p></li>

<p>I am not a students at st marys, but my parents both went there and I have basically grown up on the campus soo this is what I've observed..</p>

<li><p>From what I have seen, most students do not know eachother when they first arrive. The MD kids run into some kids they vaguely know and bond over the fact that they might've gone to school in the same counties/were high school rivals/whatever. But for the most part from what I've seen, they don't know more than a couple people before arriving.</p></li>
<li><p>I don't think hardly anyone goes home on weekends. The fact that its so far away from anything means that most people stay there. I have heard of people going off campus to party at other students' houses that live in st marys county, but I don't think this is at all common.</p></li>

<li><p>Maybe 1-2 people that went to the same HS, but that's it. </p></li>
