out state tuition in CSUN?

hello there.
Next fall, I will start at CSUN and I am international student . It really scares me how high CSUN tuition for out state or international students. So i asked and called many times to CSUN asking for the total cost for 12 units with everything included , medical, out state, per class cost everything they let you pay. Doesn’t include housing, living or books. However, I couldn’t get the answer. Please Help if you know the exact cost or if you have been in this situation and paid fully.
Thank you

They won’t tell you how much it costs? Have you looked on their website? How would we know?

I literally just googled CSUN tution. The page came up with all the prices. It says non residents tuition per unit, clearly. Multiply that by however many units you will take each semester. There is your price. There is also a link that says “click here to contact.” I did this in less than one minute. Why can’t you?

The costs should be listed on your bill. If you haven’t received one and don’t understand the costs, I wouldn’t commit to a school until you do.

If you Google “CSUN cost of attendance for internationals” you’ll find lots of information. The [Cal State website](http://www.calstate.edu/sas/costofattendance/) says OOS costs are ~$21k/year. The [CSUN site](http://www.csun.edu/prospectivestudents/international-students) states that international students will be charged $372/unit more than the stated tuition.

To graduate in 4 years you’d likely have to take 15 credits/semester. The total for that would be roughly $32k/year, but that doesn’t include travel, books, or living expenses (spending money and money for incidentals). I’m not sure it covers medical insurance either. You’d have to call and ask about that. You’re probably looking at ~$42k/year. Tuition increases every year, so later years will be more.
