I heard Whitman is famous for its outdoor activities. Can anyone tell me about other outdoor activities besides kayaking and cycling. I mean like rock climbing and so on.

go on the whitman website and look at the outdoor program. There is a huge rock climbing event coming up in the spring - there is alot of info. about it.
You can also see all the planned trips by the outdoor program and what they offer. Of course there is lots you can do on your own, but looking at what is offered formally through the outdoor program gives you an idea. I think you go to whitman.edu, then student life, then outdoor program.

They have an incredible cycling team.

Find out more about the outdoor program is at The Outdoor Program

There is an outdoor climbing wall (click the rock climbing link on the outdoor program page to see a picture from the outdoor program). They teach rock climbing even in the winter.

There is special interest housing for 2nd year and older students interested in outdoor activities called Tamarack House.

Not everyone is outdoorsy -- but "outdoorsyness" seems to be prevalent. Even those who are not outdoorsy look like they are.

I love these colleges with rock climbing walls!

Awesome, just freaking awesome!!!

really they have rock climbing as well. Well I was thinking about kayaking to be the best
