Hey all-

Congrats if you've just been accepted! Even though it's still a bit far off, you're probably all thinking about August, orientation, and the start of classes.

If you want a low-key, fun transition into Cornell in an outdoor setting, I recommend you to check out Outdoor Odyssey, Cornell's largest pre-orientation program. We offer a wide selection of trips to various places, and on each you have the opportunity to meet a small group of new freshman and several upperclassmen.

I participated as a freshman, and I absolutely loved it. I made the best friends I could have made, friends I'm still close to two years later.

Reply with questions about the program or ask them at odyssey@cornell.edu !
And browse our site for trip offerings: Outdoor Odyssey

If you’ve made the decision to commit, why not check out our trip offerings again? Also, look for Odyssey guides if you visit on Cornell Days! We will be spread out over campus and would love to answer your questions.

is there a possibility for the international students to participate? odysseys seem to fall on the same dates as the PREPARE program.

Hi there,

It is my understanding that international students can choose to either participate in one program or the other.

There are only a handful of spots left! Contact Odyssey today to ask any questions and register before you miss out!
