Definitely a competitive applicant. Keep up the good work.

Great application overall… very good stats, and great ECs. Your school is a bit small though, so I don’t know if your involvement in ECs is better than some other people at your school. How has your school done in recent years in sending kids to ivies?

Honestly, my school does not really send anyone to Ivies. The highest achievers of every class usually apply to Notre Dame. There is maybe one person a year to go to an Ivy League school. Also, not many clubs exist at my school and I think my ECs at my school are better than most people there. @collegeman5‌

Hmmk, well it never hurts to apply. Maybe you could be that one! Good luck…

solid shot, as good of as a shot as anyone else…

i would call yale a reach for most people(no matter who you are), but i think you are definitely a very competitive applicant. i can’t imagine any other applicants having stats significantly better than yours. i wouldn’t be surprised if you got in–however–i wouldn’t count on anything with an ivy.

thank you! I at least have hope @flyingbison7‌

bump

awwwwww. YOU GOT A SUPERB PROFILE. I’m pretty sure you can get to an ivy

thanks @guddarag‌ :-c

that sat score :open_mouth: and your extracurriculars… three varsity sports!!! I am in awe of you lol
I think you have very good chances of getting into Yale, for you it’s probably a lower reach, and I’m 99.9% sure you will get into at least one Ivy League. Extremely impressive record, kudos bro

kudos

I would bet money you would get into at least one Ivy league. For a school such as cornell or dartmouth you are an easy admit. You are above their averages in every department that is empirical. For ECs and essays which are more subjective you are satisfactory. I would be extremely surprised if you weren’t accepted into one of the lower ivies. As for the ones everyone wants to know about such as Harvard, Stanford, etc… I’m sorry to say this but your ethnicity will play a significant factor. However, no matter your race you still have a realistic chance of getting accepted into any school so I would say apply if you want to attend. However, please consider each school carefully. Very often I see people applying to Cornell and then also Harvard. This makes almost no sense. These schools are almost complete opposites. On one hand you have an institution in the middle of nowhere and then you have one in a bustling very lively city. Also consider the academic path you want to take. Why would you apply to Yale if you want a business degree when they don’t even have one for undergraduates? Etc…

Yale’s a difficult school for anyone to get into, but the only way you’ll have a 0% chance of acceptance is if you don’t send in an app. Go for it!

Just out of curiosity, where else are you looking for colleges?

I’m looking at Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, Cornell and Princeton mainly. @ThatPurpleKoala‌

I think you’ve got a pretty good chance at all of them, but do you have safety that’s both affordable and a school that you wouldn’t hate attending, should none of those schools work out?

You should definitely be a solid applicant. Academically speaking, you are above average than most applicants! The only thing I would improve is to find a UNIQUE EC and Excel at it! Your EC’s are great for a non Ivy League school, ivy looks for uniqueness in pretty much every applicant out of those 30,000. If you do that, then you should be a pretty solid applicant. Good luck! Could you chance me back on my latest post? Thanks
