outside scholarships?

Hi everyone!

I am an international applicant from a country that is not widely represented in US colleges. I only can afford to go if given a full ride. I have a lot of EC's, several international awards and decent test scores (over 2300) but still am very nervous about what will happen in April. I have been accepted to a couple of schools through Early Action, but they only notify about the FA award in April. My question is, should I search for outside scholarships in case my FA package will be not enough for me to go to college?

Anyone had any experience with outside scholarships at all? If yes, could you give me some tips (in case it's not too late to apply)

Thanks!

There are no significant outside scholarships from the US for foreign undergraduate students (who did not go to high school in the US; otherwise there might be scholarships from your local community).

Your best bet is college-administered financial aid, and scholarships from your home country.
