Outside scholarships

My son just received a check for an outside scholarship - its payable to Caltech. Since its too late to call the finaid office or the Bursar's office - does anybody know which office he should mail it to? Finaid or the Bursar?
We can't find the info anywhere.. thanks

Sorry to thread hijack, but I would greatly appreciate anything you can tell me about your son's outside caltech scholarships.

I'm sure there's lots of interest as to whats available. He got something called the USA Funds scholarship. Its small, but every little bit helps. There are a couple of threads about it in the financial aid section of CC. It was one of the only scholarships that didn't require any essays..so it was very easy to apply for. I don't remember any of the details but I'll try to come back later and post the link to the USA Funds website.

I received one outside scholarship. They asked for the mailing addy of the fin aid office (not the bursar), so I would assume that the norm is sending it to the fin aid office (check mails straight to caltech, I don't handle it).

We're planning on mailing the outside scholarship check to the bursar, together with a personal check for the balance after we receive the invoice. (Caltech doesn't yet accept credit cards, but the bursar said they might starting in winter quarter.)
