Outstanding Application Materials on the Admissions Portal?

What does additional information (2) mean??? It is the only thing that my portal says has not been received...

Just an FYI to those that may not have called/emailed the penn admissions office. I spent a good two weeks or more freaking out that my guidance counselor rec, school report, and transcript weren't in until I finally decided to call. The lady I talked to told me that they have new software, the office is rediculously backed up, and in all likelihood my stuff is somewhere in a pile. If it gets realllllllly late and everything STILL hasn't been found, they will search for it by hand. If that doesn't work, they'll call and have my school resend everything.

The missing material is not going to be held against us. If the office was better able to use the new software a call regarding materials that are definetly missing would have already been made. As of now they can't even tell whose accounts just need updated and whose application is actually incomplete. Since they're unfamiliar with the program we might still be contacted as late as dec 10th regardind missing material. We won't be held responsible and will still be considered ED.

Wow. Thanks for all the info oli!

Only one of my teacher's recommendations were listed as received, even though I am quite sure my counselor sent both of them in. I am really not sure what happened there, but we'll see, I suppose.

Yeah, as long as all the stuff was in one envelope they have it all. Only my transcript shows up received but they told me that meant they have everything.

I sent in my completed app (SAT scores, teacher recs., counsellor rec., school report..) a long time ago, but I only just got my Penn Portal (I'm in Canada). When I logged on today for the first time, it said I had a bunch of required materials--all of which I am CERTAIN I previously submitted. Anyone else in this situation? What do I do??
