Hey, I was wondering, if you applied to Huntsman, and got rejected, could the extra essay you sent, plus the fact you applied for something as tough as huntsman, actually help you get into Wharton??

it could in the RD rounds, but I think if you get deffered from Hunstman in the ED stage, you'll have to wait for RD for them to look at your app as an applicant to Wharton. I believe?

No, if you signed something at the bottom of Form 1C then you agreed to let them put your application in the Wharton/CAS ED pool (whichever you specified) if you are not selected for your joint-degree program.

i would think it hurts your chances since your app will be looked at the last??

I was not sure about this at first since the wording is just so ambiguous; I was considering huntsman at first just for the hell of it since i already know 5 languages and i've lived all over the place but i didn't want it to jeopardize my wharton chances at all. I called the lady i met at the Huntsman office to clarify and even she wasn't sure. She checked with the coordinator and told me that huntsman rejections mean that u are considered for your second choice in the RD pool. I switched to wharton ED as a result
