over a month with every thing in, but nothing

the last thing i sent in was my oct act, which they received like in mid november. everything else was in even earlier including june act score. so why isn't my application complete yet? anyone else in the same boat?

I had to wait the max. time and I got my application in in early September. Give it some time, this is the busiest season for applications since now that they have the entire pool of applicants they can compare everyone and see who's best.

took me 5 weeks after everything was in. don't worry anyway cus your guaranteed to get it within 10 weeks so mite as well not worry

It took mine like 6 weeks. I applied as soon as they started accepting applications so don't feel bad. While I was accepted into UW-Madison in less than 2 weeks. Minnesota is just slower than most schools (except like Georgetown and those types).

Are you saying that your application still isn't complete, or that you haven't gotten a decision? If it's the former, it might warrant a call (though at this time of year, it might take you awhile to get in touch with the right people) to the admissions office to let them know. If it's the latter, don't freak out -- mine took just under five weeks for a decision. Either way, good luck.

It took mine about 7 weeks, so I wouldn't be to worried yet.

well from what i understand, i'm suppose to get a email that says my application is complete...i still haven't gotten that email. and i think it's 10 weeks after that email, i should recieve a decision. it's been saying that they are processing new material since i sent in my latest act score, which was in early novmember.

i emailed them but the reply was fairly generic...they just told me that everything was in...and pretty much copies and pasted my status check into the email.

My friend called them and they told him that his decision should come somewhere mid January. Apparently they're swamped

has your friend's application been completed yet?...mine is still..incomplete.

it showed as completed when i check like a week ago. it said that it was completed on Nov 7 and that i;ll get it in 10 weeks...this week is the 10th week.

crossing every fingers i have.

i got accepted to Carlson yesterday. YAY!!!

^ Congrats!

Congrats. :D

Woot!!!! Congrats

they got my complete application on november 24th and i STILL haven't heard anything whatsoever. If i dont get any reply in 5 days they've crossed the 10 week deadline. is this happening to most people?

two of my friends got their decisions in under a month, and im sitting here checking my status everyday...its really frustrating. I'm OOS though, and my two friends are in state. could that be why they got their answers so early?

don't worry, they passed my 10 weeks by about a week and half. they'll get a decision to you soon enough. if you still haven't gotten a decision by feb 26th, i would call them, but i think you should get it a week or so before then, if they don;t get swamped with more RD apps.

good luck

thanks for the reassurance.
it is frustrating that its taking so long though :(

This is why, when the U and others on CC tell you for rolling admission schools to get your application in as soon as you can after they start accepting admissions, it is good advice. Especially for the U, the application is so simple that you can fill it out in a short period of time. No essays, no letters of rec, there really is no reason to not have it in sometime in August if you want to be in the first wave of acceptances and not be stressing in January. Just a word to the wise for those in the class of 2010.

well, i dont get this rolling decision thing. My friend submitted her complete app about 2 weeks after me, but got her decision already.
