over-listening to songs

... is basically all i do.

i listened to supa gfk by ghostface killah straight for like 2 days, then i listened to slow ride by sublime straight for like a week (that song is just so CHILL) and now i'm on to london by third eye blind/i'm kinda in between because i'm also listening to ghetto superstar. but, uh idk

lol!!!!

That's what I do too. When I find an awesome song, I listen to it for a few days. ONLY that song. Until a new song comes to the picture and takes its place. :)

Songs like:

"Hurt" Cover by Johny Cash

"I can't wait to see you again" by Hannah Montana (current)

"Ramayana" by Afric Simone (incredible)

"Over the rainbow" by Iz (Hawaiin guy)

When I buy a new song on iTunes, I literally (and I am not exaggerating) listen to it for many days straight. Like, the song counter is easily in the hundreds a couple hours after I buy the song. Esp. any song by Daft Punk...

i do the same thing and i hate the song after a while

yea i hate the song after i listen to it for awhile.. especially songs on the radio that are played practically every half hour.

which is interesting, because daft punk songs are endless repetitions of the same bar, so it's like you're listening to it hundreds of times more than you actually are!

Hey, I love Daft Punk. I usually listen to the edited, remixed versions, though, that are a bit shorter. But I love the long ones as well, repetition or not. I like music that repeats itself. Words clutter up a song anyway...

I over-listen too. Mainly because I am very picky with songs, so when there's a new one I like I keep playing it. Then I go on YouTube to hear the many live versions of it and all the covers from random people.
Right now it's Monsoon by Tokio Hotel.

blegh, i hate live music. especially recorded live music. unless it's bradley nowell because it's just so awesome to watch him perform

I've listened to the Portal song 114 times.
In the past two days.
I've been playing it, on repeat, for hours on end.
It's now #6 on my list of most frequently played songs.
(I'm not used to playing songs on repeat.)

I'm sure in two more days I won't be able to stand it.

that's impressive, fizix
i've listened to slow ride 158 times in 3 days...lol now i'm a little sick of it

did you count and find out it was 158? cuz that's kinda sad..

Any song by The Click Five.....all 26 of them, song counts in the 100's. And Boys Like Girls. High 2 digits, only because I've been practicing restraint. I never get sick of them. The more I listen to them, the more I like them.

They actually sound better live, which is the reason it's not in the thousands.

iTunes is a tool of procrastination. You listen to music hoping it'll help you focus, and then you end up going online. And humming. And then singing. And then you pull out the headphones and......you can imagine the rest.

^That is almost what happens to me every single day of my life...

I'm listening to Ederlezi non-stop now.
