How would I petition for to take more than 19units? I currently want 20 units for winter quarter but I do not know how I can petition for it? Can anyone tell me the process of doing this?

I’m assuming you’re in the college of letters and science. And, you’re probably a freshman. If you are one, college of L&S won’t let you take more the 19units because you don’t have a established GPA. You can do it by waiting for the first day of class of winter quarter, assuming you have at least a 3.0 GPA. (At least, that’s what they told me when I called.)

If you’re an upperclassmen, just convince a counselor to let you go over.

silvercross is correct.
you can’t add more than 19 until the first day of winter quarter(if you are a transfer student or freshman), and that’s only if you petition the day of at the window and have at least a 3.0
