<p>So here's the deal. I LOVE to dance. Like crazy. Absolutely my passion, and I think I could write a decent essay about it. I know colleges like hearing about your passions...but is dancing just too overdone? I feel like I've heard about so many people that write about it.
Any opinions/ideas on how to make an essay about a common topic not-so-common? Thanks!</p>

<p>As to how to make an essay not-so-common: aim for personal, detailed, honest and revealing. Something so personal that only you could have written it.</p>
