Overlap in Essays and ECs?

For UC they need you to write up 4 essays responding to prompts.

I know that in the essay portion it’s your chance to show the AOs what you haven’t shown in the application yet.

3/4 of my essays are essentially describing a different EC I did, my experiences doing it, and what I learned from it. Is it bad to have that type of slight overlap?

It’s fine as long as you are answering the prompt correctly. More importantly, be sure you are giving them insight into your character. Remember that the true topic of most supplemental essays is you.
