Overlap of UDs and GEs?

<p>So I was looking around on the L&S College Requirements page today and saw this under Upper Division Units:</p>

<p>"You may overlap the upper division and GE requirements by taking the upper division courses clustered in the Humanities section on the GE list."</p>

<p>What does that mean? What GE list? </p>
