Overlapping Classes

I’m a current student, physics major, looking at classes to take next semster. I have already signed up for a Physics H7C lab from 8-11am on Wednesdays, and I’m trying to choose between taking CS61A and E7. The E7 class seems better to me since I already know some Python and the professor seems better. However, the E7 lecture is MW 9-10am, which overlaps with my physics lab. Which class do you think I should take?

The other two Physics H7C labs are not suitable?

Better to avoid time conflicts. If you want to take additional CS courses, CS 61A would be more suitable.

The other two labs conflict with another class I have to take. Thanks for the advice!

Unless you want to switch to CS61A, I’d say just take E7 next semester.

If I intend to minor in CS, can I take E7 (need to take it for the major) in lieu of CS61A to satisfy the CS minor requirement?

Engineering 7 cannot substitute for CS 61A for the CS minor, but can for the EECS minor.
