I read this recently:

Apparently, the school of law doesn't allow students to overlap their classes for credit.

Does this pertain to all majors, too? I have a chemistry lecture that overlaps with a physics lecture. Does anyone think this pertains to the College of Chemistry?

Also, if two classes overlap and credit is not given, does the student receive no credit for BOTH classes or just one? Which class would be considered for credit?

What do they mean by 'credit?' Does this mean having a grade on your transcript? Or units? Or satisfying a major requirement (can it appear on your transcript yet the college refuses to recognize completion of the requirement because of the course overlap?)

(I asked my advisor this question through e-mail, but I have yet to receive a response...)
