Overlapping deeper meaning in essays

Hi,
So I wrote my common app essay and also outlined a supplemental essay already. They are COMPLETELY different stories (ones about my music travels, another is about my connection to nature) but they both have the same underlying meaning that I spell out pretty clearly: That I desire obtaining different perspectives by exploring the world. That said, should I change one of my essays so they don’t overlap or do less analysis on one of them and leave it more open-ended.
Btw I’m applying to Stanford EA.
Thanks

You want to show multiple facets of who you are and what makes you tick. It’s okay – and probably preferable – for you to have a general thread that ties things together, as long as you aren’t repeating yourself. You don’t want all of your essays to sound alike, but you want them to have your unique voice.

Ok so the topics of my essays should be different but not necessarily the deeper meaning of each? @LoveTheBard
