Overnight Guests at Residential Halls

Are they really strict about having a Guest Authorization Card for overnight guests, and only a total of 7 night in one quarter?
I'm a transfer student so i'm sure i'll get either San Rafael or Manzanita, but I heard some dorms only allow same sex guest (i'm a chick), and i'm planning on my boyfriend to visit me at least once a month, so would it be a big deal if he stays overnight with me? as long as I clear it up with my roomie, of course.

You could always… sneak him in.

haha yes, I thought of that…just checking on the other stuff though ;P

Nope, not a big deal.

Tell you the truth, they don’t really give a crap about visitors lol.

Awesome :)

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone getting a guest authorization card when they have a guest staying with them. The only times RAs ever enforce any kind of policy is during Halloween.

^^ thank god.

@TayTay11 I was thinkin of doin the exact same thing
does that meant they dont enforce the 7 times/quarter rule either?

:D
well I don’t think so since they don’t even bother to check how many times our guest have stayed with us, phew…thanks :)

My girlfriend goes to UCSB right now and I just got accepted. When she went there, I visited her at least once a month and I stayed with her in the dorm room for a couple of days. (Overall visits, more than 7 days.) They dont really care, sometimes I didnt even check in.

^that’s my boyfriend. yep yep, it’s no big deal.

^^lol @ your location
