Overnight policy q.

I just have a quick question about the overnight policy. When I start attending UCSD in the fall, I will not be living home. However, say for example occasionally I want to stay in a friends dorm a night here and there, can I? Is there a limit or even not allowed?

Depends on the roommates. As long as they don’t have a problem with it, it’ll be fine.

yeah, check with all the dorm mates first; be friendly.
i know some girls that had problems with someone staying over in their dorm often because they didnt really know her at all (only one girl knew her).

technically though, i think a guest can only stay over for 3 nights per quarter or something, but no one will really find out/care unless someone complains.

Yea of course. I meant if i’m friends with the roomate, would it be fine. Thanks a lot !

i’ve had a friend stay with me for a week. it’s not that big of a deal if your roomies don’t care:)

The rule is no more than 3 consecutive nights for your guest, but you will most likely be fine if they stayed a little longer (although I cannot make any certain claims, but you know what I mean).

as long as your RA don’t see them everyday and know that they are a visitor, it really doesn’t matter. I had someone over for 3 weeks

Alright perfect
