<p>You can see Camillia Grill down where St. Charles makes the big bend to the right and becomes South Carrollton, about 7 blocks. You can also see the Tulane campus at the edge of the map, it is a very doable 12 blocks or so. Definitely safe in the day, and I always felt safe at night, but you shouldn’t have to worry about that I guess. You only have to walk the two blocks from J-I’s back to the streetcar stop on South Carrollton, then take that back to your hotel.</p>

<p>I would take the street car on st charles down to camellia grill and hop off (going in the direction away from downtown, so standing facing tulane go left, standing facing the park go to your right)</p>

<p>And then for dinner so the same thing and hop off by Oak st. You will walk down Oak st a few blocks and it will be on your left. Theres a snow’ball’ (cone) place near there as well for desert but watch out for the owner’s son, he’s a bit crazy and will give your child worldy advice… for an hour.</p>
