<p>I will be arriving at Laguardia airport on the evening of July 4th, so I will be compelled to stay overnight at a hotel.</p>
<p>I was looking today, and it would seen that "Long Island" and "discount hotel" are incompatable. I have looked and the cheapest I can find is around $150 a night.</p>
<p>Is there anyone else coming on the fourth? It would make better sense I think to split the cost somehow, if anyone is open to this idea.</p>

<p>try hotels arround LGA, its not that far away and they are typicaly cheaper...</p>
<p>I have looked at hotels around the airport itself, the best I could dig up were in the $150 range - it would seem that they are less expensive now, but they jack the prices up for the fourth (or the summer in general?)</p>
