I scheduled mine, I'm going Feb. 2-3. I can give anyone tips when I get back if you'd like. They sent me a schedule, you have to be there at like 8:15 the first morning for a breifing. Then you are picked up by your cadet escort. You are done the next day at 12:45ish. It sounds like a lot of fun, I'm pretty excited!

Hey TMac,

I got the contact information for my overnight with my LOA letter if I remember correctly. As for dress, I would where a tie, sport coat, and slacks. I wouldn't wear a suit but I definitely wouldn't wear anything less casual than a button-up. Bring sneakers and workout clothes though, you may go to your escorts sports practice. My visit was really chill and I enjoyed it a lot. I hooked up with a friend of mine and he gave me a tour of the SOSH department and took me to one class. I went back to his room at like 8:30 and I was out cold by 8:45 :).

I promise, you really don't need to wear a tie or a sports coat. You really, really, don't. Wear khakis and a nice polo shirt, or something along those lines. You'll be fine as long as you don't wear jeans.

Yeah same, you dont need to wear a tie and dress slacks. when i went I wore jeans and a nice sweater and was fine.

pimps dress like pimps... What can I say?

When our son went he wore a nice pair of kacki's and a collared polo shirt- and that was fine- it seemed everyone visiting that weekend wore just about the same thing- we did not see anyone in a shirt/tie/jacket on either the top prospect recruit day or the overnight stay. Dress comfortably- no sneakers- no jeans- comfortable shoes (you will do a lot of walking)

Does anyone know what time I should arrive at the admissions office and what time I'll leave the next morning? I wrote the info down somehwere, but I seem to have misplaced it. Thanks

TMac: My son's instructions were to arrive at admissions between 7:45 and 8:15am. Give yourself time to get through security, park and catch the shuttle bus to admissions. The visit ended at 12:45pm the following day.

i got an overnight scheduled! wooo! april 10th.
