<p>I scheduled an overnight visit already, but the school doesn't send an itinerary/let you talk to your host beforehand. What should I expect?</p>
<p>a chance to eat a couple of meals in the dorms and talk to a lot of students. You will probably accompany your host to a class or two. But at most schools they are not chaperones; you're going to be on your own a considerable amount of the time. So find out where the campus tour is offered, if they have interviews at the admissions office, etc.</p>
