Overnight visit?

Hi everyone. I visited Middlebury recently and loved it! I will probably either apply there or to a different school ED but before I make that choice I would like to have a chance to do an overnight at each college.

On the Middlebury website it does not say that there is such an overnight program available. I was wondering if anyone knew whether there is an informal program available to do something like this? If not, how could I get a better feel for the school while still being able to apply early?

Thanks!

There isn’t an official overnight program. Can your parents take you can stay overnight in a hotel? Then you could visit a class, maybe go to a performance at the arts center or attend a sports event etc. Maybe meet with someone in a department you are interested in. Some prospective students get tours of the science building that are more detailed than the general tour. Although the admissions office probably won’t be able to find someone to host you overnight maybe they can find someone to take you to lunch.

Absolutely correspond with admissions re your interest in applying early, and take the initiative to find a course or professor that matches your interests and either e-mail her/him yourself about attending a class, or go thru admissions.

There’s the Discover Middlebury program in October. The deadline is 9/17.
