<p>This happened to a classmate at a local high school of mine. </p>

<p>She was accepted on an athletic scholarship to Harvard/Yale/Princeton, yet was rejected from U of M for being “over-qualified”.</p>

<p>She was a nationally ranked diver, 2300+ SATs, 4.0 GPA, 35/36ish (I forgot) ACTs, huge winner at DECA Nationals, placed pretty high in the Intel Science Search…volunteered a crap load etc etc etc…</p>

<p>Anyway, U of Michigan rejected her. Her parents called and complained and threatened to sue and they gave her a full ride. Haha…</p>

<p>Friend’s son was rejected at UW, accepted at Whitman and USC</p>
