^^ huh? "one of them"? a little paranoid are we?

why the need for PMs? you didn't feel the need for such secrecy when you were boasting to the world.

why not just come clean and admit it. its much more honorable.

Already received acceptance letter from Harvard, Princeton, CAL-Berkeley, Stanford, Cornell and Michigan. Currently, it's 60-40 in favor to CAL-Berkeley.

So, let me get this straight. You were accepted to:

Harvard

Princeton

Stanford

Cornell

Cal

and you decided to go to Cal... ok... you're still sticking with that story, right?

YES, I did pass in those schools among others, and rejected at a few (MIT, Cambridge among others). You're jealous because you never got in to your first-choice?

sansai,

Even if you are being honest...which unfortunately is hard to verify on the intarwebs, you are a very rare breed. You cannot use the outlier, the odd-man-out, the single datum point, etc., to establish a trend or any reasonably good model.

You're jealous because you never got in to your first-choice?
I'm not jealous. I got into my first choice, Arizone State University.

I decided to go there instead of:

Harvard

Yale

Princeton

Stanford

Oxford

Cambridge

MIT

UPenn

Dartmouth

Brown

Columbia

Duke

(i got rejected at Caltech and Skidmore.)

yeah... i call BS. seems like another CAL fanatic, he calls stanford his FALLBACK school. sure buddy, if it makes you feel better say whatever you want.

You also posted about your "brother"

My older brother is going to Haas. I asked him what his stats like and this is what he said:

Undergrad: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Accountancy (5-yr program)
School: University of the Philippines (Diliman)
GPA: 1.42 (magna cum laude in a scale of 1 highest and 3 pass)
Member: IASEC UP, UP Fencing Club
GMAT: 740
Work Experience: 4 years at Toyota

He got admitted at: Wharton, Stanford, Michigan, NYU, Columbia, Sloan, Dartmouth, INSEAD (France)
turned down: Harvard, London Business School, Oxford-Said

He guessed there's really no assurance in applying to B-School.

Could you people worried about sansai just start a thead about it instead of brining it up on so many threads in which she posts? Just keep in mind the terms of service (which says to exclude such goodies as flames, personal attacks, and repetitive posts).

yet another Cal-fanatic coming out of the woodwork to defend their army of zealots, gee what a surprise.

...and wait a minute, did you just accuse people of thread-jacking? isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?

I'm a Cal fanatic? What makes one a Cal fanatic, and what behavior does a Cal fanatic have? UCLAri, Alexnadre, am I a Cal fanatic? Honestly, I don't think I'm one, but rather people such as CalX and probably sansai are, and the three of us are very different.

I'm not defending anybody- I'm just sick of hearing about it, and guess what? Much of the behavior violates the terms of service.

Show me some threads where my hijacking occurs but is not in response to somebody's post.

Vicissitudes, what's wrong with Cal's UG that isn't wrong with the UG at all major research schools?
Uhh...all I said in this thread was that I don't see many people hyping Cal UG. I never said anything about what's wrong with Berkeley's UG and certainly not about what's wrong with other research school's UG in this thread.

i think he saw "Berkeley" in your location and got angry.

agoodfella,

Just because people don't zealously lie on one side of the argument here doesn't make them a Cal fanatic.

I think many of us are just looking to see this sansai-talk die down so we can maybe discuss other issues.

uhhh. this is the first time i've heard someone using stanford as a safety. what did you get on the sat sansai? 2410/2400? is that why youre using stanford as a safety?

"I only applied there just in case I won't make it to Berkeley; at least I have a good fallback school."

Really? I've never heard of this. You sure?

yes that's the rule for people in England, as well as internationals.

It is possible to apply to both Cambridge and Oxford if you play a certain musical instrument. Well, it used to be the case back in my day. But most applicant could only apply to one or the other...never both.

Interesting. Hey Alexandre, am I a "zealouz Cal fanatic" or a general "Cal fanatic?"
