Hello everyone, I'm a student from New Zealand and I want to ask you knowledgable folks a few questions for overseas students like me who would like to do LL.M in Harvard. I currently posses an Arts Degree and I'm currently doing my LL.B in New Zealand.

1) Does it matter which university you are coming from in NZ? Do the rankings matter?

2) If I graduate from law school in a not so highly ranked university, would that be a disadvantage even though my GPA is very high?

3) Would I have to out muscle my CV? e.g. are they interested in you playing the Piano, having published a book ,sold a screenplay, an officer in the Navy or having interned with Judges and Queens Counsel?

4) What are the areas I would need to strengthen in order for them to have a slight grin of approbation?

Thank you,
PoloS.
