i visited drexel this summer and i thought the dorms were really really nice and way bigger than i expected for a university. also, just to point out if any out of state students are applying the price is not 'moderate' as many people have posted here, it very very very costly. even tho im a US citizen i am an out of state student for every state (i lived overseas my whole life so my parents paid federal taxes instead of state taxes) and its a very expensive university.

My son and I toured Drexel, and he seemed to like it just fine. He got the full-tuition merit scholarship and is seriously considering attending. We'll see.

ronda: Could you pm me your son's stats, if you don't mind? I would just like to see if I have a reasonable shot at getting a scholarship.

I am a student from India. Recently, in a U.S Education Fair which was conducted here, a representative from Drexel offered admission to me and told me to send him the required documents as soon as possible. And he also assured a hefty amount of scholarship. It maybe a little irrelevant here, but I just wanted to know, as an international student with pretty good scores and EC's (SAT 1- 2180 SAT 2 Math 2 -790 Chem and Bio - 740 each), is Drexel worth the money I will pay? I have applied to other institutions but am awaiting my results....

For engineering, excellent school. Very well respected by people in the field.
