true or false (for a girl)

39% girls go Greek at Lehigh - high, but certainly not the majority.

Lehigh actually provides incorrect information about this. They usually say about 33% of women at Lehigh are Greek. The reason it is actually higher is because Lehigh does not include women who are not living in the house. This means they don’t include seniors (seniors live off campus), and they don’t include the girls that join during spring formal recruitment. They basically count the number of girls LIVING in the houses during fall semester. A tour guide friend of mine explained this to me.

Almost half of the girls in freshman class this year went greek. (Somewhere around 230 girls were iniated, and there are 493 girls in the class of 2013).

what brings the percentage down also is that freshmen aren’t allowed to live in the frats and sororities.

lehighgal, so seniors don’t live in the frats and sororities, only sophomores and juniors?

Some fraternity seniors live in the house if there’s room, but there is never any room for sorority seniors to live in their houses. We actually sign leases for off-campus houses during the fall of our sophomore years for our senior years.
