Overwhelming? Please answer ASAP!

Hi! Is anyone else worried that GW would be overwhelming? Like the city, the huge number of people, everyone that wants to do political science? Please tell me ASAP because I'm doing a last minute decision of GW or Rochester

welcome to GWU!

Overwhelming? Absolutely NOT! You select the environment you would like to be in. I second Multitasker’s comment - Welcome to GW!

Agree with Insomniac! Bka, I hope you chose GW. Rochester is a great school, but you’ll feel you are in the cultural and political center of the world here, there is no comparison. I wish you the best!-but come to Gdubs!

Haha thank you both! I just sent in my deposit :)

Living in DC is an amazing experience. You will not regret it!

Bka: Congrats, Colonial!!

Congratulations! You are now a fellow Colonial!

See you in the fall (or during orientation, or special program for the matter) :)

Although this response is late, I must agree. I have seen many beautiful cities in the world, and all I can say is that Washington, D.C. is gorgeous! As to GW, the campus is very classy. As to prestige, over 21,000, from around the world and the U.S. 50 states (plus, Guam, VI, PR, D.C.) applied to GW, and over 125 countries are represented in its current student body. In my view, GW just does not have regional prestige, it has international prestige. I am very sorry if I sound arrogant, but that’s just how I feel.

D loves GWU!!! congrats
