Did anyone attend Owl Days yesterday? Or has anyone been going to any of the virtual events? I’m just curious what people have thought of the events so far.
D attended one yesterday. She liked it. They covered it well from academic tours of different colleges, residential colleges, their traditions, and tours of Rice Village and the Medical Center etc.
She knows someone on campus who took her to their dorms and showed her around a day before. She was quite surprised that on an Easter evening, there were about 70 students attending a General Chemistry session led by some senior students. Since this was optional she was pleased to see the commitment of students toward academics.

Great! It’s fun to hear about how they’ve changed it over the years. It seems like it’s tweaked every year, I assume in response to feedback they get.
