<p>Does anyone have specific information about Owl Days? Specifically, what time will it start on Thursday and end on Friday? All the information that I have is very general, and it makes it difficult to make plane reservations.</p>

<p>The times listed are pretty flexible, iirc, you just need to be there before noon on the 15th so you can register, and you’re free to leave at any time the next day.</p>
<p>This is what the confirmation email says about when it starts:</p>
<p>“Check-In for Owl Days will take place on Thursday, April 15, beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at noon at Lovett Hall (building #40 on any campus map). Please keep in mind that the Official Welcome will begin at 9:30 a.m.”</p>
<p>If you will be flying into Houston try and book your ticket by tomorrow (Wed evening) in order to get the 14 days advanced discounts. I think the cost to fly will be higher if you don’t get the tickets booked before Thursday. </p>
<p>For airport information search the Rice forum using “airport AND transportation” and you can read discussions about options of getting from the airport to the Rice campus. FWIW, many students will make the trip by themselves so parents do not have to come (but a parent is welcome if you want them to travel with you - they will just have to find a hotel for the night)</p>
