First, I apologize if this question has been asked before. I've been searching several grad school websites and most of them are UK-centric, so the information I've found expresses all admissions stats in terms of "firsts" and "seconds" so I'm not sure exactly how it applies to an American student.

I'm intersted in doing an MSc in political theory as part of a greater academic/professional grand scheme. I'm a 2010 Ivy grad with a 3.4. I've been working on Wall Street for a big strategy consulting firm (not McKinsey, Bain, or BCG) in our private equity practice for a year and a half now. Based on my GPA, do I even have a shot? If the answer is an unequivocal no I will have to reconsider.

Thanks
