But often when people here post what they had to get in, they are way over these numbers. For someone who is on the lower end of these stats, what else does Oxford value that may help me get in?

im sure that some of the ppl posting on this forum aren't indicating whether or not its Oxford College or Emory College. Emory College has higher stats when compared to Oxford, so you might be seeing those numbers and being like woah lol. also, i know at least two or three people who had the lower end of those stats, like not great GPA and an 1100-1200 on the SAT and they got into to Oxford, so don't stress, but they applied early action, so you might want to consider that if you're worried.
Since no one commented on this, I decided I might as well...I don't know much about Oxford, but Emory College looks for people who are interested in it. So essay questions like "Why Emory" are really important. Basically, Emory College doesn't want to be the back up to the ivies...or at least thats what I've heard. Demonstrated interest was also really important, so visiting the campus, having contacts (and I mean, going to information sessions held at your school, not emailing them every day stalker-ishly) with admissions reps is also helpful...just show them that Oxford College is where you really want to be...I think that is something that Emory college really looks for, so maybe Oxford does too...I'm just basing that off of what I know about Emory College, so I could be wrong, but I thought I might as well try...

I say this as an Ox student just try your best and hopefully admissions sees that ...to them I feel it matters more that you try your hardest rather than have the best acronyms ie. GPA, SAT,etc. Don't get me wrong it's just as hard to get into but they accept a wider array of students than emory in terms of ethnicity, stats, economic backgrounds...seriously Bonne Chance!

Oh by the way the application for Oxford and Emory is the same. So I had to write a "why Emory ?" essay too, in case you wanted to know.
