does anyone know what percentage of students in the oxford college are scholars or receive merit aid? I've sent in a 2170 sat 1 (although with 2 poor sat 1 attempts before, and a 560 us history, 660 phys&span), as well as a 31 ACT. since then, i've gotten a 33 ACT and 740 math2 and 700 spanish. Should i spend the money if i'm trying to get the scholarship? (assuming I have excellent ECs)

oh and i got in EA; if they were considering me for a scholar, would they have already notified me? thanks!

Don't know about Oxford. But you have to apply to the Emory Scholars program by Nov 1st. Your guidance coulnselor needed to nominate you and there was additional paperwork and an eassy to write.

i'm pretty sure you had to apply as an Emory Scholar; there isn't a special scholars program for Oxford, although they may give other merit-based aid

there is an oxford scholars program that offers 2 and 4 year scholarships. i think that they may announce the recipients in late january but i'm not sure.

thanks amadani! does anyone know how many people or what percentage receives these?
