I wanted to ask some ppl about graduating Emory coming from Oxford.
When I apply for jobs or internships, do I state I came from Oxford or went to Oxford my first two years in college? Or do I just say I graduated from Emory?

One Question: WHY???!

Hmm… I suppose you could put that you started out at Oxford for your first two years? It seems to be more prestigious than Emory. Of course, that might lead to a question of why you transferred…

Peachaso, he means Oxford College of Emory University.

Annie07, as far as employers are concerned, you are supposed to put the most relevant information for the job. Provided that you did receieve a bachelor’s degree from Emory, you can just put emory university.

That would be fine in most cases, but if the employer wants to see a transcript then they could figure out you went to Oxford 1st by looking at the course numbers on your transcript, but I highly doubt most employers outside the Southeast would know anything about Emory’s Oxford.

I never heard of Emory’s Oxford until a couple of weeks ago.

In an interview I’d just say “Emory,” which is true because Oxford is a college of Emory University like their business and nursing schools. However, as I understand it, to qualify to continue to Emory’s college of arts and science you graduate with Oxford College of Emory with an A.A… You should list your A.A. and B.A. (or B.S.) on resumes, cvs, and applications.

I’m applying this year, so I’m not a student or anything.
