Oxford Housing?

My daughter will be living in Oxford. What furniture is in the room? Where do most students eat? Any other information about this dorm would be appreciated.

I have a daughter entering U of M in the fall also and I understand you needing as much information as you can get. I don’t know much about Oxford, but here is a Facebook U of M housing site you can go to and look at pictures of the dorm. I know it was a great help for me :)

I have lived in Oxford for the past two years, overall it’s pretty solid. The furniture is a bit old definitely not on par with the newer dorms, there is a cafe in oxford that they’ve just built. However most student would walk to Mojo and eat there. Location wise, it takes about 15 min. walk to the diag.

One of my good friends lived in Oxford last year and it’s really nice. The rooms are a lot bigger and the new dining hall “twigs” is pretty good too. The downside is that Oxford is quite secluded and you don’t get to meet as many students.
