Despite the anxiety and pressure (the interviews are make-or-break), Oxford applicants often quite enjoy the interview process, especially the discussion and the tutorial process. You can see why it matters that you have an actual interest in the subject!
The Bible and archaeology question is the exact one they asked my daughter at Cam.

@collegemom3717, they knew she was interested in it from her essay. They really pressed her, to the point that she felt stretched. It was such an impressive process, so attuned to her as an individual.
