Yeah, sorry, finalist! I’m waiting on goizueta scholars (i can dream, right?) but if every finalist gets some sort of scholarship I will definitely be at scholars weekend.

@definemyself, I haven’t heard from any other schools besides Emory and Stanford. I was denied EA to Stanford. What about you?

I was rejected too
32 ACT, 4.0 GPA, Rank 5/364, 3 AP’s, 11 dual enrollment, 4 clubs, team captain

Does anyone know how many people were invited to this weekend thing?

Or how many full rides are given/ the chances of getting something if you attend the weekend?

Semifinalist… 4.8 UW, 2250 SAT, 34 ACT, Decent ECs.

I’m not sure how many people we invite to scholars week, but we awarded 117 two-year scholarships, ranging from 8,000-$15,000 for two years at Oxford, and 51 Four-Year scholarships, ranging from half tuition to the full cost of tuition.

My rejection letter said about 750 applied and about 75 got invites (Oxford Scholars Weekend)

Whoops–those numbers were from last year so as to provide a basis for estimation.

I just got the email that said 75 got invites. Thanks for the info! And christena629 - sorry! It sounds like there was some tough competition. :/
