<p>The fact is that the U.S. Postal Service is not as reliable in some parts of the country. Your letter/package will probably arrive sometime this week.</p>
<p>I know our lettercarrier is great and with about 6 or 7 kids on our block that are seniors in high school, she has been overwhelmed with delivering literature.</p>

<p>I got my acceptance package from occidental a few days ago. I’m from LA. I was very nervous because i got rejected from all of the UCs and cal poly was the only school I had gotten accepted to so far. Here are my stats:

<p>Twins wait listed via letter in mail yesterday. We live in San Francisco.</p>
<p>unofficially, the school is trying to increase its selectivity and decrease acceptances. This is because the past two classes were enormous - the freshman class is about 75 more kids than the senior class, and we definitely have a housing issue in terms of trying to get everybody rooms. This was a hard year for admissions so congrats everybody!</p>

I got my package today and I live in China (US citizen at an international school). Really wasn’t expecting it for months! Gotta email the admissions office again…</p>
<p>How did you guys find out about admissions are they posted online, casue i still havent received anything in the mail.</p>
<p>they only send through the mail unless you are international.</p>
<p>Waitlisted! Considering my stats though I think its a solid achievement :)</p>
<p>I hope spots open up for you guys…unfortunately one of those spots you can take will be mine. I’ve decided to go to Davidson instead. It’s so hard to give up Oxy but I think it’s best for me. Good luck to everyone on wherever you choose, and I really enjoyed talking to you guys on here!</p>
