<p>Ugh, I’m freaking out. My grades are so bad. Well not really, but this damned Obama bump is NOT helping my life.</p>
<p>So I got an email from my admissions counselor saying she enjoyed my essays (using specific examples) and that she believes I can prosper in the Oxy environment! I hope this means I’m in!!! I’m excited.

<p>I’m going to ask my parents tonight if they will let me go to California to visit Oxy/my sister who goes to Chapman University…hopefully they say yes… :)</p>

<p>Oh cool! I didn’t apply. My sister really likes it though…she’s studying history. The only thing she doesn’t like is the shortage of straight men and abundance of blonde girls.</p>

I so liked it as well… but with low SAT score of 1870 on;y, I certainly have thin chance. Also, I am an international student from Nepal and I seek for huge financial aid!!!

<p>That’s the same postcard I got, and that was followed by an email from my admissions person telling me things she liked about my application.
Of course I’ll let you know how my visit is! I’ve had some problems with Oxy not emailing me back too. I hope it all works out for you.</p>
<p>i submitted app on 1/9 (i know total procrasination) and i didn’t submit midyear until 2/15 since my semester ended the first day of feb. i got an email saying my app was complete on 2.21 and i got the postcard on 2/25. </p>
<p>i was at OXY yesterday!! LOVEEE IT. it was for scioly. met a microbial diversity professor. it was amazing.</p>
