I applied to Amherst, Bates, Bowdoin, Colby, Colgate, Davidson, Holy Cross, Pitzer, Washington and Lee, and William and Mary besides Oxy.</p>

<p>OMG same!! And nobody here in Chicago has heard of Oxy, so when I tell them I want to go they’re like…um what’s that?? And then there was one girl I told that I loved Oxy and she literally said, “Oh yeah I looked at that! It sounded cool but I decided it wasn’t good enough for me.” UGHHHHH!!!</p>

I am currently on a gap year, so am completely out of the college discussion loop, though… which quite honestly is a relief!
I also applied to Willamette, Lewis & Clark, Vermont, and Indiana. Occidental is definitely my top choice. :)</p>
