They say it's optional, but is that entirely true? Would not doing it hurt my chances for ED?

Any thoughts?

They say it's optional, but is that entirely true? Would not doing it hurt my chances for ED?

Any thoughts?

Its optional. Truly.

Ring a bell?

It's just meant to help you.

I didnt write any optional essay last year and was accepted. I would say that if you think you can write something really good then do it, it will help you. Otherwise don't worry about it it wont hurt you

i'm not gonna write it. partly b/c i'm kinda out of time. but most importanty, i have no clue wha the question even asks. somebody enlighten me on that one please!!

then dont worry about it and dont do it. It will actually hurt you if you rush and write a bad one

Can it only be one page long? Mine is a page and about six lines single-spaced...is this okay considering it is a page 217-essay prompt?

technically ambitiousmind07, that would be a page 217-218 prompt. So no.

Last time I checked, optional meant optional, so yea... it's optional.

Alright, just making sure. I wanted to make sure no one heard that they preferred it if you sent it in or something. Thanks
